The ideal candidate has strong tax preparation experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced office setting.
Key Responsibilities Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns Conduct tax research to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance Review financial statements and supporting documents for accuracy Assist clients with tax planning strategies throughout the year Maintain organized and compliant tax files and documentation Communicate professionally with clients regarding questions, documents, and deadlines Support general accounting tasks as needed within the department
Requirements
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required 2+ years of tax preparation experience preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Proficiency with accounting/tax software systems Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client files Strong communication and client service skills
