Job Overview:
As an Associate Director in Private Banking at Emirates NBD, your role has mainly Revenue generating responsibilities. The Associate Director typically manages a portfolio (AUM / CASA / FD) of USD 100 million -350 million generating USD 1.5 million to USD 4 million Total Revenue (NFI & NII).
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth of the Private Bank
- NNM (own book): USD 40 million to USD 75 million p.a.
- Total Revenue (own book): Depending on the size of the total book this can vary between USD 1 million and 3 million
- Increase the Assets Book
- Target to increase the assets book (Lombard Lending / Other Loans), by USD 5 million - 20 million annually.
- Grow the Net Interest Income:
- Target to Generate Net Interest income from the Existing and New clients. Targets depend on the Book size.
- Wealth, FX and Other Fee revenue:
- Targets to generate Wealth, FX and other fee revenue. The Director typically generates USD 0.5 million to 1 million.
Skills and Experience
- MBA in Finance or Bachelor's degree
- CFA or equivalent financial services qualifications
- Min. 10 years of relevant experience in Financial Services
- Min. 5 years of experience in Middle Eastern markets
- Strong knowledge about most of all assets & liabilities products as well as capital markets, portfolio management and investment products
- Full understanding of Compliance, Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering Acts as well as standard banking procedures
- General understanding of legal structures (Offshore, Trusts)
