Description
Wells Fargo is seeking a VP/Lead Finance Analyst in the Commercial Bank Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will work closely with the Commercial Bank CFO and the Commercial Bank leadership team to drive decision-making that is aligned to both the strategy and financial performance of the business.In this role, you will:
- Lead financial analyses on a variety of topics which may include: business / product profitability, business strategy, competitor positions and deliver clear/concise recommendations for leadership decision making
- Lead development of executive level presentations for business review meetings with Wells Fargo CEO and CFO
- Collaborate with CB Finance leaders to build financial analysis to support CB's strategic plan and annual budget and develop metrics and reporting to track progress against long term objectives
- Demonstrate technical expertise on matters related to financial reporting and forecasting as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Strategy, Investment Banking or Management Consulting, associate level experience in Investment Banking preferred
- Experience creating presentations via PowerPoint and presenting to senior leaders
- Ability to synthesize data and make recommendations to senior leaders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of Commercial Banking business and financials
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Essbase and other forecasting tools
- Advance degree such as MBA, CFA or CPA
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is posted in Charlotte, NC; and Dallas, TX.
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $163,000.00
