The Administration Division comprises Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Security, Compliance, Internal Audit, Control Division, Corporate Secretary, Privacy, and Ombudsman within CIBC.

Collectively, this division is responsible for the provision of legal advice across CIBC, provides leadership on governance and regulatory requirements, the management of reputation, evaluating risk management systems and practices across CIBC, and the creation of employee programs and policies that foster a positive employee experience and supportive work environment where employees can excel.
