Licensed as a state wholesale branch, Mega ICBC Los Angeles Branch provides commercial banking services including international trade and finance, commercial loan construction loan, commercial property finance, domestic and international remittance, and deposits.
Company History
Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. (Mega ICBC), formerly known as The International Commercial Bank of China, is a renowned commercial bank in The Republic of China in Taiwan. As the first chartered foreign exchange bank in The Republic of China, the Bank has extensive overseas network as well as specialized expertise in the services of international trade business. On August 21, 2006 Chiao Tung Bank Co., Ltd. merged with and into the International Commercial Bank of China Co., Ltd (the “Bank”), in which the Bank is the surviving institution, and in connection with the consummation of the merger, the Bank’s name has been changed to Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. Owing to the consolidation, the Bank now has 108 branches at home, and 21 branches, 5 sub-branches, 4 representative offices abroad. Together with the network are wholly-owned bank subsidiaries in Thailand and Canada, along with their branches, bringing the number of our overseas outposts to 37 in total. It has manpower 6,005 strong and an aggregate paid-in capital of NT$85 billion.
